Chief Michael Miller and the members of the Sandwich Police
Department invite you to join them for the fifth session of the
Sandwich Police Department Citizens Police Academy.
Ciriculum to include:
Station Tour and cruiser ride alongs
Criminal / Constitutional Law
Patrol Prodedures
Sandwich Police Specialized Units
Defensive Tactic / Officer Survival
Major Criminal investigations
Firearms (including range segment)
Field trips to court house and new jail
Much more!
The academy will run for twelve weeks beginning March 13, 2007.
Classes will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Class location will be the Mirant Training Center (Freezer Road)
The Citizen's Academy is open to any interested citizen or business
owner of the Town of Sandwich who is 18 years of age or older.

of the Sandwich Police Department or clicking on the link below.
Class size will be limited so don't delay! Application deadline
is Monday, March 1, 2007.
Ask any student who atttended the first, second, third, or fourth
session it's time well spent.
